jon5698
I have been fitting my decat pipes today, and noticed a probe on the 1st one. What do you normally do with it, just tie it out of the way? Managed to pull 2 of the studs out as well grr, so will have to try and get some new ones tomorrow. The car sounds like a v8 without the exhaust now lol Edited April 2, 2010 by jon5698 wrong title (see edit history)

hodge
Jon if you lift the drivers side carpet you'll find a plug from this just unplug it and pull it out then fit a gromit to fill the hole.

David P
It is a cat over heat sensor, best left connected and tied back, or you may get an annoying warning light flashing. Mine is still connected and stashed behind the radio, used the hole in exhaust for EGT sensor. Edit: Or you could use for AFR, I didn't mention that because mine is located further back, in first section of exhaust.
