JohnA
I've still got you the highest bhp quote Steve, hope you appreciate it mate (the real point ofcourse is that you can get almost any figure you like if the RR operator wants to)
Guest Terry S
(the real point ofcourse is that you can get almost any figure you like if the RR operator wants to) Absolutely, dont get hung up on bhp figures, worry about how it drives. There is such a huge variance in figures from different dynos ( seen over 130 bhp on the same car!) that they are almost pointless.
GeordieSteve
Yep... you da man... although you won't be da man when I'm disappointed for not even coming close
JohnA
steve, do what the RR software does: add a 'correction factor' on top of everything, perhaps 30% and be happy! It's all in the mind...
jagman
360 bhp- if it stays together-dynos can trash engines
GeordieSteve
Well who guessed 0bhp? That works out at sod all at the fly and bugger all nm. The guy couldn't set up the S-AFCII. Now when you plant your foot your greeted with no power, a choking/coughing noise and black smoke (must be over fueling). Anyone got any advice? REALLY could do without this at the mo. Anyone know something in the NE who can set it up?

GeordieSteve
p.s. for some reason my A/F seems spot on (sitting at 14). Error 41 & 47 don't help either :(
JohnA
I think that any attempt to 'map' or 'boost' a car without a wideband is doomed to fail. With prices of WBs so low nowadays, there is no excuse really, people are happy to pay hundreds of pounds on bullshoite airfilter 'systems' and even thousands on fancy 'big wheelz' but skimp on a wideband which is fecken essential to setup the car properly. Oh well.... [/rant] Steve, do yourself a favour mate and get one. The stock narrowband is useless for an off-standard fuelling setup. carl0s
running 1.2bar.. hmmm.. 369 at the wheels, or 418 at the wheels if done on Thors dyno. What will I win? edit: sorry, can we continue the BHP game in light of the fact that you hopefully *will* get your configuration working
GeordieSteve
Ok... problem is I don't know what I'm doing which is why I need someone to do it. My mate could but wouldn't want to if there was a possibility that he'd cause damage carlOs... you win nothing mate...
