Blackie
Are they quite easy to fit or are they a pita?
Tricky-Ricky
They easy way is to fit a sandwich plate, or have you one already fitted? The hard way is to weld a fitting to the sump, and the temp will read about 5-10C less than a sender in the sandwich plate.
bluecoup
its the sandwich plate that is a pita, id personally go remote on the oil filter at the same time
L33
looks like my sensor is drilled into the sump

Hi. Im not good at mechanics... whats going remote?? Where is the corekt placing of a oil temp sensor?? Thx! If you want accuracy then the sump is probably the most realistic location, but if your not over worried than go for a sensor in the sandwich/take off plate. Stan
I just gave my garage the sandwich plate and sensors (had pressure and temp put on at same time) and they charged me 3 hours labour, so depending on how much you wanna spend, you can get someone else to do it for ya!!
