David P
I've just fitted some of the ebay from China, £30 a pair HID's into my glass headlamps. Main 4300k, dip 4300k, fog 3000k and Angel Eyes 4300k. 'Plug and play', and they work a treat. I think HID must stand for; Hello It's Daylight Edited May 20, 2010 by David P (see edit history)

RobD
Hi Rob, Could you drop a pic of them one please...? I assume the kit was easy to install? I'll get a pic tonight when it's dark! They are easy to install just had to figure out that the red isn't positive in japan!
jackso11
I bought a set of these exact ones. plugged them in and they came on great.....then after about 20 seconds one of the ballasts went pop. It was the ballast not the bulb. Emailled the seller who said he would send me another ballast.....4 months later and its still not here. He said he sent it surface post which takes longer....no ignoring emails.
David P
Went with the 4300K, maximum light output and closest to daylight. Really pleased to be able to see where I am going.

jackso11
I had an update on my ebay HID kit.... They sold me one ballast that works and one that didn't, then told me they would send one that does work.....which never arrived. It has now been 6 months since I paid and suddenly the guy is saying he has never had any emails from me! I emailed him a copy of my paypal statement to prove I bought from him, he has now said if I send him £10 he will send me another working ballast. This is his ebay shop, DO NOT USE HIM. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/grapebaiwans
