TT cylinder head and bits

I have one complete TT head only done 1000 miles since new from Toyota SOLD

 

also have another TT head built with the following: ( all sold )

Brian Crower Camshaft 264 - Intake

Brian Crower Camshaft 264 Exhaust

Brian Crower Springs & titanium Retainers

Not in too much hurry to sell these and not really sure what they are worth.

Probably looking for around £250 for the nearly new complete (standard) TT head

 

and

 

£500 for the head with the Brian Crower 264 Camshafts Springs & titanium Retainers

 

That may be too much, as I said I am not really sure what they are worth but I know they cost me a LOT more than that to buy :(

Been asked this by PM but no doubt will be asked again so to save time will answer here:

Why are you selling the "nearly new" head - is there anything wrong with it? I suppose I have the same question about the other head as well - why are you selling that one and the cams? Did you have an engine failure or something? How many miles are on the assembled head and how many miles on the cams and associated hardware assembled in it?

 

I originally (foolishly) thought I could build a 3.4 stroker engine myself but ended up cocking it up and melting pistons. This resulted in my original head getting damaged so I brought a second hand bare head from Keron on here but at the same time was offered a Brand new complete head from another person so brought that too.

 

The new Toyota head got put back on my now rebuilt stroker which after getting properly mapped by Ryan on here went like a dream but I cocked that up too and quite quickly mashed the main bearings.

 

In the mean time the Second hand head got built with the Brian Crower cams Springs & titanium Retainers got put on an n/a bottom end which I was still using up until last weekend.

 

So to answer your questions the standard head is virtually as new done 1000 miles and the other head is undamaged however the cams both have slight scoring (from the first engine fail) on the first journal (?) at the cam gear end but have both done around 6000 miles in that condition since then with no problems.

 

Anyway I have got bored with the 2jz now and am fitting a 1uz v8 which will be turbocharged and give me what I was originally looking for with the 3.4 stroker, loads of torque + loads of power

Do you have a price in mind for one of the ARP head stud kit?

I brought 1 set new for around £100 plus shipping and 1 set second hand from the USA for £49 plus £20 shipping so really looking for £55 including shipping to anywhere in the UK
