supra matt
if you wont more ask them to get an independent valuation done mate . But they will probably double your insurance if you value it that high.
Gaz6002
£12k isn't enough. Find adverts for similar cars to yours, send them to AF with a nice note stating you thought your car was worth more than that and that they should amend your quote to closer to £15k. Receipts for the work done will also help judge the value.
L33
reading the letter if i want it valued again i have to fund it myself by getting a independent engineers evaluation from a member of the institute of automotive engineers and assessors
j80leo
Yes you have to pay for it yourself, I was told if you get this done then they can't refuse your valuation and they also said that someone off the forum could do it but never said how. TopgunTT
Have you tried Livingstones? They are the club insurers on the other Supra forum. I have a very good agreed value on my Supra, I went and took my car to them in person and had a chat with Jason Livingstone. And as a bonus to you they are based in yeovil

L33
sorry i think i missed a bit of info, i already started a policy with adrian flux almost a month ago and they said after i take the policy out then they will send out the agreed value forms for me to fill in well i done that and then the report came back based only on pics and spec of 12k and i origionally asked for 15k, which they did put on the return letter and said they will do a 12k agreed
