Supra N_A

Recommended Posts

you may kno i am looking at getting a supra n/a :D

just thinking from going to a little starlet turbo to a supra is on my mind as how i will handle it compared to my starlet. has any one went from a small motor then went on to a sup?? i feel confident about driving the supra just want hear others feedback??

my starlet is only 850kg and is a 170bhp i kno that the n/a to some people isnt to fast but i am happy for that atm as i have never drove a tank like the sup lol.

i have only sat in 1, never drove one or been a passenger :( i did notice cant really see much out the back window hmmmmmm or i might be thinking that

feedback appreciated ;)

I went from a 1.3L metro to 3.0i Mk 3 Supra Turbo.

I was doing well, untill the turbo caught me out one day and I wrote it off. After 10 months of ownership

So, go easy on the right foot.

The NA won't catch you out quite like this, but still treat the accelerator pedal with respect.

So be sensible and enjoy your car :)

I went straight from a 60bhp 1.1 Metro to a 5-speed NA Supra. I had no issues at all with the extra performance. Watch out for autobox kickdown (and if you get a TT, turbo boost) but other than that you shouldn't have problems as long as you drive sensibly.

Edit: as Lbm said. :)

mate your starlet turbo is prob a lot quicker then a na. id say you would be into the 100mph plus before a na would catch you. the only prob i see for you been rear wheel drive.and the front end ie the size of the car parking etc might take a bit of getting used to. you wont feel speed in the supra compared to starlet. best of luck
