alex2jz
Currently i'm saving cash for NA-TT. My car , besides being a NA, has a stock exhaust and its kinda boring. I would like fit an aftermarket exhaust until the swap to get things moving a bit (at least acoustically), then use it with the TT engine. (preferably a direct fit on both) What are my options ? Thanks and sorry if this is a repost
adam82
Well I just went for a motoria 3" exhaust system from ebay designed for TT, trouble was as it was designed for TT it was really loud whilst I had NA engine in, quietened down nicely with TT engine though. Homer
Any cat-back exhaust that fit's an NA will fit a TT (and vice versa)
alex2jz
Any cat-back exhaust that fit's an NA will fit a TT (and vice versa) Heard that.. but why are many exhaust systems sold depending on the application(NA or TT) ? I'm after a direct fit in both cases, with mods you ca fit a bathroom pipe to your Supra

Sound is no issue mate, the louder the better for me So, did the Motoria exhaust ( the two piece system i guess) fit both setups without headache ? If so... that's the exhaust for me. hdnixon
The NA exhaust will often need extra 'silencing capabilities' to mellow out the engine noise whereas the exhaust turbine of the turbo does an amazing job of reducing noise on its own
Kirk
I hate loud obnoxious exhausts on NA's hence why ive gone with the tanabe... future proof also so no need to change ever realy
