garethr Posted March 29, 2010 Share Posted March 29, 2010 It's possible, for example, that the 1JZ and 2JZ conrods are different lengths, so, if nobody knows for certain, I guess you'd need to check if the 1JZ and 2JZ pistons are the same height above the gudgeon (wrist) pin, if the pins are the same size, and if the 2JZ piston skirt clears the 1JZ crankshaft.
