Respraying helmets how to ?

you have to be carefull spraying crash helmets

depends on what the shell is made of, leave the ruber strips on around bottom and visor opening

but most sprays and the fumes they give off will eat at the styrenne used inside to cushion impacts making is less effective if needed, it might not absorb any shock at all, only way is it get it done by a pro imo

Very true, I work for BSI and my department does the testing on crash helmets. Another thing that can cause problems is stickers, depends on the adhesive but these can weaken them too.

Well it does not look like a good idea from what you guys are saying :(.

 

Shame may have to buy a new helmet then, as I really would like it to be yellow :).

 

you can get it done, you just need to get it done professionally by a person who sprays helmets!
