pistonbroke
Right, just waiting for some info back from Mr Whiffen. I might just change the calipers instead of spacers

JamieP
Will they still clear the arch with a 15mm spacer? wont you need to do the rears an all to keep the look the same Dan? Still got some none hubcentric ones in the shed you can have FOC if you just want to get the wheels on for now.
pistonbroke
The front wheels with these offsets always sat in from the arch lip. I may get some small spacers (5mm) for the rear to make the stance more aggressive, and then roll the arches if needed. I'm starting to see now why no one has these wheels on a supra. If it's too much, I could always sell the spacers on here. They're hubcentric 60.1mm hub size, so fit the hub perfectly without spigots. JamieP
They look great mate.
pistonbroke
Yet again my luck with the wheels has struck again. You can see from the pic that the center cap doesn't fit, it's fouling with the hub nut behind it Hopefully your 5mm spacers will pull it out enough to make them fit. ScottC
I thinks its best you give up and give them to me
pistonbroke
I thinks its best you give up and give them to me Haha, no way dude, I've started........so I'll finish. These wheels clearly weren't meant for the supra, but I'll make em fit somehow
pistonbroke
Got the spacers JP, nice one They've sorted the rears out a treat Now onto the fronts........... I've not mounted the rubber onto the rims yet, but had a quick mock up fit and I'm not so sure. from the side down the car profile, it doesn't look too bad. Then from the top, the lip protrudes slightly. Can anyone tell me whether the wheels are likely to pull in slightly when the car is dropped ? JamieP
If that is jacked up and the wheel is hanging you might be ok, if not an arch roll will clear that easy.
pistonbroke
Yes, it's jacked up. The wheel is bolted onto the hub to keep it straight so I could get a good indication. Cheers JP, you've made me feel a bit better.
JamieP
Tell me the width and offset and what size spacer you have.
pistonbroke
width is 8.5, offset is 38, spacer is 15mm
JamieP
So that makes it an 8.5 et23. My old black rota's was 9.5 et22 255 tyre, thats 14mm further out than what you have now, stock rolled arch. You will be fine.
pistonbroke
Phew, yours stuck out another 14mm?
JamieP
I have a 12.5" wide et43 on the front now:D thats 31mm further out than you have there, still under a stock but heavily rolled arch, it does rub the odd time now but the car is going into Nur motorsport in a couple of weeks for the wide front carbon fenders. BOB B
Dan, are you going to have your wheels sorted for Sunday?
pistonbroke
Not sure mate. I'm working at the moment so the earliest I can get back to it is Saturday. That involves getting the rubber on and dropping the car back onto the floor. Then if the suspension needs fettling, it all has to be on Saturday.
