how_supra
Can you switch car tax from one vehicle to another? IE is there a form which I can fill out to notify the DVLA that I have bought a second vehicle and I wish to switch my tax over from my other car to my new one. I suppose I need to declare SORN on the other vehicle? Is that right?
Class One
No you can't switch. You either have to "cash in" one and buy another. You need to SORN the one you take off road, and you can get the new car a disc using the green portion of your V5.
how_supra
Thanks Doug. Its probably easier just to leave the Tax on the laguna (it may add some value when I come to sell in a months time), and get new tax for my FTO. Too many forms to fill in........... Too many forms to fill in........... you're gonna have to leave it taxed if it's to be kept on your road anyway. If you declare it SORN, it'll have to be on your driveway.
