CarlT67
I have removed these from my car today, they are in good condition with no cracks. I believe they are genuine as they have Veilside markings on the inside, they also bolted underneath onto the seal which you don't see on 'replica' skirts. I am not sure what they are worth, for someone wanting Veilside skirts genuine is the way to go. I am open to offers on these and they'd need to be collected due to their size. I will get some pictures up asap.

SIMON LC
Thats silly money.I paid £250 for genuine Veilside skirts and then had to have them painted.I am tempted to buy these just as spares at this price.

JS2004
Is postage definately a no-go? not sure if due to their size they could be delivered intact etc.. or what it would cost to move them. Can you give me the dimensions of these please; 1) length (guessing about 2 meters) 2) width 3) height 4) weight Can they be packed in a way that they are inside themselves sort of, or would they have to be side to side? Do you have bubble wrap?

Do you have bubble wrap? I am just worried about packing them as they maybe damaged in transit, the only way I can think of sending them is in two bike boxes end on end. I will have to look into it but preferably I want them collected, it would probably cost a lot to post them too, as they aren't small its the size that'll cost more not the weight. JS2004
Aye I am also a bit worried about possibly damaging them in transit I have set up a shipley account and put in estimations of the diameters to see what quotes i get back. Weight I put as 10kg, length 200cm, height 50cm, width 50cm wrapped in bubblewrap.. I will see what type of prices I get quoted. If its relatively reasonable then I may go with it. I am assuming if they got damaged in transit then it would be between myself and the delivery company to work out compensation for it as surely a freight company should be able to deliver stuff unbroken (one would hope..). Ill wait to see what quotes I am returned.

Let me know what they come back with. Sometimes its cheaper to send two items of the same than to bulk them together, saves on a large weight number I guess. JS2004
Thats a fair point about splitting them up. I just measured the side of the car. 2 meters is near about spot on, saying theyre half a meter wide is probably being over generous? If you could find those approx dimensions though it would help. If they were well packaged with bubble wrap / scrunched up paper or polystyrene bits I imagine they should be okay.

JS2004
Cheers - I have a few emails and such fired off to a couple of freight companies. Will see what they say. A couple wont touch it as its fragile and over 2.0m length (using that as an approx figure).
Hoppy
I previously sent a pair of OEM skirts, via Parcelforce.I paid about £25-£30 all in, which included up to £250 shipping insurance. I did a fair bit of searching on line and Parcelforce was the cheapest i could fine
