jimmenico
Well I have been on a hunt for an aerotop recently, and there's a couple currently advertised on eBay... eBay aerotop link Unfortunately this one came up as Cat D registered in June 2009 (mycarcheck.com), however this is not mentioned in the advertisment. No response from the seller (so far), but any interested parties may want to check this with them before placing any bids etc. for me, the hunt continues... Holden1989
CatD is no big deal, however they should have stated it in the ad, perhaps they arnt aware
Rob_Mitchell
ouch, i was going to bid on that
Dnk
Cat D might not be a big deal but as far as the trades concerned it knocks about 25% off the value of the vehicle.
Scott
To the op, good post. Those checks aren't always 100% accurate but it will mean buyers will be more aware of potential issues with the car.

Yes that's fair enough - best thing would be to email the seller for more details (to confirm if they are aware of any possible history). That said, I am still waiting for a reply! Holden1989
IIRC for £200 you can have the CatD wiped off a cars history
