MarkR
This stops the fuel cut when you go BPU and the car hits the built in boost limit. See here for description: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35932 and here for settings: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=9916 It's currently setup for my VVTI facelift car. £50 delivered (buyer pays fees if using paypal) Branners has first dibbs but if he's not interested then whoever is next. These are rare as they're not made anymore and work perfectly without affecting anything else adversely. I had no problems and ran this for 6 years. MarkR
If it's still available, I'll take this please. Sorry mate. Branners has PM'd and taken me up on the offer as he asked a long time ago. Hope you find one. SOLD
SteveC
No problem Mark ... but I do wonder why you simply didn't PM Branners first before bothering to put it in the For Sale section.
MarkR
I did, but he didn't reply and I needed to move it as I have cash requirements so I thought I'd start the ball rolling but still be true to branners. Sorry mate.
Branners
I'm a bit slow with PMs sadly. But TheModifiedKid also had one of these for sale recently if that helps.
SteveC
...But TheModifiedKid also had one of these for sale recently if that helps. Thanks for the info Branners, but it looks as though TheModifiedKid's VFCC has already sold. I actually bought a brand new Greddy BCC a while ago (not fitted yet), but I was under the impression that a Thor VFCC may be a little better. It would seem though, that the upper boost cut feature on the Thor is around 1.25 Bar, so it wouldn't be any good for me if I want to run my UK Spec turbos at a slightly higher level than that. On the face of it, it looks like I probably wouldn't be gaining anything with a Thor VFCC over the Greddy BCC with having a UK spec...

I plan on running up to 1.3bar on a cold day. I better look in to it.

The Thor definitely has an upper limit somewhere in the region of 1.25 Bar, but I'm not certain if you can disable this upper limit altogether - in which case, I don't think you're gaining anything over the Greddy BCC. SteveC
Here's one post. The upper limit is around 18 - 19 PSI (1.24 - 1.31 BAR).
Branners
Should be okay if the upper limit is around 1.3bar. Wouldnt want to be going over that anyway as thats the limit I normally set on the SBCID.
MarkR
That post relates to MAP limits, which the VVTI cars don't use. We have a MAF, so the limits don't apply. TDi (in their infinite wisdom) accidentally ran my car to 1.5 bar using this and there was no cut.
