Nic
Impressive stats, I just think they played it a bit safe with the styling though, it just doesn't have any wow factor for me.

Suprab1
I like it but think the LFA is better looking and sounds better.
Bobbeh
Similar lines to the F1 from the side.. looks nice. The LFA is more cutting edge with looks tho, that thing looks a little subdued. (for a supercar)
Tricky-Ricky
Definite hint of Audi and Ferrari from the front view, quite nice looking and great spec.
Guigsy
should have named it "McLaren Generic supercar mk1" if you didnt read the badge you wouldnt know who made it or why its special. not much imagination or passion in the styling imo. The R35 is ugly, but at least you know what it is when you look at it.
Gaz6002
I think the subtle nature of the car is one of its endearing qualities. The technology speaks for itself, but you have to question who they're aiming the car at if you're wondering why it doesn't look very extreme. Not everyone wants a bright yellow shouty supercar with big spoilers and 30" wheels. Some people want the performance without the pomp and circumstance. Oh, and in my most humble of opinions it looks knee-quivveringly, mouth-wateringly, achingly gorgeous. I'd have one over almost any car out there. Chris Wilson
Personally I was a bit disappointed to see how heavy the thing is, maybe they'll bring out a lightweight version with no frills? Not that I can afford one, looks lovely though, and would certainly have one if I won the lottery
Miguel
Ooh I dunno, 1300KG is practically anorexic compared to some of the other exotica currently on the market. I'm sure they'll follow the business model of other companies when they release a "lightwight" version though; get half as much but costs double to buy. Chris Wilson
I suppose it's a lot better than some of the fast lorries out there, but to me anything over 1000 Kg/s is not a sports car. `Elf `n` safety I guess. Look at the weight of even base model hatchbacks now, just plain gross.

Tee from China
But when you pull up to where you're going, the GTR will have still have a datsun badge on it. but they haven't used then name Datsun for over 20 years so the R35 never even had one to start with! Chiefgroover
But when you pull up to where you're going, the GTR will have still have a datsun badge on it. I'm not a badge snob, and I frown on the wannabee's that are, so it wont ever be an issue for me When people ask me what I drive, I tell them a Datsun. Dont need to have a snobby brand name to boast about to try and be popular or feel accepted like the german "stereotype" car club !
