caseys
It varies depending if you have a MK1V or MKIV Ohhh, was it the MK1V with the secret boot release? Also aux belt, cam belt, crank pulley are things you should also check if require replacemen. I suppose you could also check suspension, how far do you want to take it in this service? Oh, you can't reply Buy a membership!
stevie_b
1 oil filter (I recommend power enterprise) Who are Power Enterprise, and why do you recommend them? (genuine question). I've always used Mr T's OEM oil filters, and it would take a lot for me to change my mind. I would get the car first, check all fluid levels before going anywhere, see what it's got/hasn't got in terms of service history and engine mods, let the dust settle for a few days then tackle the servicing. caseys
oh any recomended oil to get?? 5/40? Silkolene pro I'd say. Oilman (opie oils) has a good site to check, you'll see a banner ad at the top of the page for them occasionally.

The Raven
Dont na's have fuel filters ? I've changed plugs on an na, why ? He is servicing the car yes? Hes not doing the fuel filter, hence i have questioned it. Also if he has not looked how to change n/a plugs he is in for a surpise. Its not straight forward is it. Unless you are doing the service? I dont understand why you are commenting on the fact that you have changed plugs on an n/a?
