ShamelessTT
Right then chaps, been spraying up bits and bobs on my Clio run about. Anyway the colour i had mixed from halfords is just slightly to dark (due to probably paint fade on the car). So i need to lighten it up...... So how do i go about that? its Monaco blue.......? Cheers for any advice... Si

L33
if u have already sprayed and bought the paint, wont it be easier to bring the old paint back to life where its faided? t cut?
Tricky-Ricky
Presumably its an aerosol, and if so you can't lighten it, take it back and get them to mix a lighter batch, but i very much doubt that you will get a good match like that, it need a decent body shop. Oh and it wont be cellulose, its 2k acrylic.
ShamelessTT
Well its 1litre, im using a compressor and spray gun to lay it on. So i could add something to the paint mix to bring the colour a bit lighter. Problem is the old paint has already been paint cleaned / tcut etc recently, so im pretty sure the cars just faded all over (again very slighly).
