Guest Tisi
I mounted my HID Xenon Kit yesterday, it doesn´t work, after them i put the halogen lamps back again ... and now... even no light,... I checked the fuse in the fuse box near the battery, but everthing is OK... What can I do?? Is there anywhere another fuse for the light ??? I know as I use a HID Kit in my GSX-r1000 bike, I had to replace the 10A fuse through a 20A, cause the 10A fuse were blown every time I´d turn on the ignition... Please help me... chrispot
i brought some HIDS for my car, but before i pluged them in i noticed that the power/earth on the feed to the ballast was revearsed, could be the same problem, worth a look. also check the main fuses as well, (the big square ones etc) regards chris. bodilx6
you shouldn't need to change any fuses. Mine works fine both dipped and fog with stock fuses. Does it work if you switch back to normal bulbs? Is it both sides?
Swampy442
Id try them again but turn the plugs round.
Guest Tisi
no they don´t work with normal bulbs.... that´s the problem.-..
bodilx6
I mean, disconnect the HID ballasts and reconnect regular bulbs to the oem connectors, OR measure the voltage at the OEM harness to make sure you have 12V there. Troubleshoot 1-0-1: Eliminate possible error prone parts of the situation and test basic setup. Then add one part a time and check. - also a good idea to switch the plugs around to check thats not the issue
Guest Tisi
I had reconnected the regular bulbs,.. but theres nothing.... another strange feature is that the main beam doesn´t work to.... only fog lamp will work.... I should measure the stock harness...
Guest Tisi
I measured the voltage ---> 0,0V ... Does the supra have a light relay which can be defect? Or a light controller box? Because I only change the dipped beam.. and now there no main beam..... that must be a heavier thing than a fuse..or?
JS2004
Sounds like fuses.. your sure all of the headlight fuses under the bonnet are okay? There is a fuse box in the drivers side footwell, to the right of the acellerator pedal (At least there is on my N/A).
Guest Tisi
yes under bonnet every fuse is ok,.. and yes I looked to the fuse boy in the foot space at the driver side.. but on the cover theres no beam/light fuse shown....
Abz
Even if their is no fuse for light shown under the drivers footwell I'd still have a look for blown fuses.

bodilx6
Did you try to switch negative to positive poles on the bulb?
