Guest blueangel Posted March 15, 2010 Share Posted March 15, 2010 Well for months now the bad weather has been putting me on a downer due to not being able to work on the car. Finally we have had some dry weather and the car is coming along in leaps and bounds, heres some pix of the final shape of the custom bumper. This started life as a Top secret but didnt fit the do-luck wings so had to be modified,then with the change of headlights that area had to be sorted too heres the outcome i think it looks great considering this is my first major bodywork attempt. reeceu Posted March 15, 2010 Share Posted March 15, 2010 nice work mate looks fantastic, quality looking finish. it the undertray all fibreglass moulded in as 1 complete piece??? if it is are u worried about massive cracks elsewhere if u have a bash with a curb/bump or whatever?? Guest blueangel Posted March 15, 2010 Share Posted March 15, 2010 me too the only bit i need to do now is the bonnet and then the front will be complete, having alot of problems with the shut lines due to carbon bonnet and glass fibre wings and neither were perfect to start with, had a few worries that i bit off more than i could chew with this project.
