Stephen G
We have been building a honda trike over the last few months on and off but its more or less finished now and was mot'd last week. Here are a couple of pics i took today. What do yous think.? now it was built on a very small budget. The bike in self was the most expensive bit and it was bought for about £400. Stephen G
Thanks guys. I must try and get some pics of it in the sun looks real good. This orange is the st focus colour. As a bike the cx is worth £500 if your lucky but as a trike anything from £2000 up and the best thing you can ride it on a car license and not wear a helmet! I dont think it turned out to bad for a first try. Prob take a bit of fun out of it over the summer and prob sell it on to help pay for the next one. Have a choise of two bikes that we have damaged 1991 VFR750 1998 R1

Stephen G
cheers mate. He came round a corner at a legal speed:rolleyes: and there was a guy turning a fireblade on his side of the road and t-boned it. Every thing down his left side got broke. all the ribs, punctured lung, broke the arm couple places, smashed the hip broke the leg as well, two knees smashed and broke his right hand thumb. It happened coming 4 years now hes ok but is on crutches all the time. The fact hes not able to still ride pisses him of more than anything else! The man on the fireblade hurted his knee! Suprab1
He's lucky in a way with all that damage that it wasn't his neck or back. Its always the way though in an accident, the person in the wright always seems to come off worst. Glad to here he's ok now though.
Swampy442
Thats why Ive hung up my riding gear, my youthful exhuberance has been replaced with responsibillity, well not in the Aristo anyway That R1 frame is scrap, pretty sure the headstock will have cracked/split. VFR750 trike, straight through pipes, win.
Animal
That's looking well, that, dude. Probably the best use of a Maggot I can think of. At least you won't be troubled by torque steer too much - I remember popping a wheelie on a CX, forgetting it was a transverse engine and ended up with the front wheel 3 foot in the air and the bike leaning more and more to the left, lol. Stephen G
That R1 frame is scrap, pretty sure the headstock will have cracked/split. yep the frame is scrap the two main parts of the frame are swelled out. We were thinking about using a frazer frame as its steel tube and could be easy modified if need. Would be making it independent rear suspension as well with a Lsd. Would be fun. 145bhp trike! You were doing well even to get it up! They are a right heavy old thing with very little power and the turbo version wasnt much better.
