imi
On the way back from Kent last night I noticed the new Average Speed Cameras on the A2 / new ones on the A13 - in Total about 10-15 new scameras of the average type (and they looked like a new version of the average type). Thought they ruled in Parliament not to put up any new scameras as they didnt reduce the accident hotspots....

stevie_b
Thought they ruled in Parliament not to put up any new scameras as they didnt reduce the accident hotspots.... Maybe they think it no longer applies seeing as Parliament has been dissolved (not sure I'd agree with them though) . If so, cheeky move by the Westminster Massive. Swampy442
Has anyone actually been caught by an average speed camera? Theres a coupke on the A46 between Newark and Leicester and Im sure Ive (inadvertantly) been through their coverage area over the 60 limit prescribed 60 limit. Abz
Mate, they are doing an A13 on the A2... The A13 is in testing until some time in the summer when it will go live. The A13 will no doubt catch a lot of people out, have you tried driving on it at 40mph at 11pm? I tried it at the other night & you should try it... on a 3 lane road it felt like I was doing 20mph!
