Supra Interior

recoil

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I don't own a Supra (but would like to). I've seen a supra for sale at my local breakers yard and I was just wondering whether the interior is supposed to be all leather?

The one in the yard is an L reg and the back seats are trimmed in leather and the front are cloth.

Pictures of the seats would be cool too.

In case you're wondering, the damage is the front passenger side wing and bonnet and small dent on rear.

Cheers lads, I'll hopefully soon be a Supra owner :)

Yeah, the look like leather but I guess they're vinyl. I'll have another look. Is there some sort of leather test I can do? lol

Did the front seats ever get produced in leather or leather look vinyl? I'm just trying to figure out if the front seats have been taken out and replaced by cloth ones.

Thanks

When I was looking for a soop I saw quite a few j spec cars with what I presumed were leather rear seats and cloth front. I thought it looked ok but I do prefer the leather all round which I think is standard on a UK model.

Having said that it's not the best quality stuff you'll ever see.

Anybody had their seats re-covered with different leather?

I have full leather Recaros on my J-Spec, figure hugging and good quality leather ;) bit tougher than the normal leather you get.

There is one part of the chair that really wears out quick and that's the side part of the drivers chair, had this on my old one. It's the bit where your arse rubs on the seat when you slide in :)
