Branners
So I haven't used my supra for about 4 months. Got it out for a trip to Northampton today and decided to fill her up. £74 in total . Commuting to London on the train has left me in a bubble, last time I put petrol in anything it was around £1.05 a litre. I just glad all the tax we pay goes to fixing the roads and stuff and not towards MPs claims for loo roll and donkey porn.

Guest Suprafly
I try not to look at the prices and just get on with it. But yeah, as mentioned above I filled up two weeks ago and cost me just over £75. I was looking under the car to check I didn't have a fuel leak! richarde7927
I ran mine down till the light came on and it tuck £75 to fill it , Its about time the country downed tools and started kicking off about all the tax we are paying , but for it to work we would all have to stick together and that will never happen . Lbm
I just glad all the tax we pay goes to fixing the roads and stuff and not towards MPs claims for loo roll and donkey porn. I'm not sure it was ever public knowledge about the donkey aspect, boss. I intend going to the Reading meet this Tuesday, so I've put my boys' inheritance in the tank - just to make sure I get there and back. All the way from Watford too. caseys
It's quite bad isn't it that you can buy 2 litres of Cider for less than a litre of petrol now isn't it?
JustGav
Beginning to think AVgas might be an option....
caseys
Beginning to think AVgas might be an option.... What you need is this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honeywell_AGT1500 Runs on Petrol, Diesel or Aviation fuel. 1500hp too and 2750lb/ft torque. May have a slightly lower rev limit though. Ganty
The prices are crazy ! but then again why have a supra if you going to worry about petrol prices it's just one of those things I'm afraid:(

richarde7927
Just in this short thread how may people have complaned about the price of fuel , if the hole country did this we could get it down . We should all ( car drivers that is ) use one fuel station ie shell and the prices on the rest of the suppliers would soon come down . Rich. But your theory falls down in one particular area - Sandwiches. I prefer the BP ones, so could be difficult to coordinate/persuade. Some (I've heard this on the grapevive) prefer Tesco. So what now? Dnk
Im on the hunt for a good LPG 4 x 4 now as a daily as the £1.20 p litre is taking the pee
imi
i filled my altezza today at 121.9! this is getting really ridiculous! Its ridiculous but not bad enough for the public to actually do something about it. If we all stop filling up even once a week - they would take notice. Its the Govt that cashes in with over 80% tax on fuel.
Tom S
and I want to come back to this..... am I silly
Konrad
That's why I love my 80 series Landcruiser - just put some used veg oil (40p/litre filtered or free if I have a time to pick up from chip shops) and drive around smelling like a chippy
