Thanks Ian, just bought the Sigma APO DG OS/HSM 5.6f 150/500mm, it really is a great lens, all the bird shots were hand held, so the stabalizer really works,also use the Nikon Vr 18/105mm lens. nige Posted March 13, 2010 Author Share Posted March 13, 2010 Ian you might like the vr 80/400mm I was thinking about that one, E-Bay sometimes has them, I think they are £1100 new, I dont think I would go for the 300mm vr if you want to shoot wildlife its just a bit short.
