MrRalphMan
Just posted an update to a telly woe on http://www.avforums.com and it came with a little box at the bottom stating that the thead is greater then 120 days old and I had to confirm if I wanted to really post the reply. Maybe it's worth looking into getting this onto this site.
Dr_Doom
But then we wouldn't be able to mock people that post on stupidly old threads! Where's the fun in that? lol
mawby
Also, I'd rather someone did find and bumped an old thread if that thread was relevant. Why start a new one just because it's old?

tbourner
I think it's mainly for people who say "How much are you after" in a 3 year old for sale thread.
mawby
Classified forums are different. I could more actively prune it so there are never any old threads in there.
MrRalphMan
Fair do's, but I've seen a fair few posts where someone's posted not realising it was from 3 years ago.. I know, because I've done it too..
jevansio
I don't think it's that big an issue TBH, for the amount of times it happens it'd be more of a pain for the people who actively want to bump a 3 yr old thread
MrRalphMan
The only pain is to tick a box, to confirm you want to.. It doesn't stop you full stop.
