Guest jdwals
Saw "Green Zone" at the weekend and thought it was a much more enjoyable movie than the "Hurt Locker".
TLicense
I thought it was OK, not brilliant but not poor. What was the significance of him thinking the young boy had been killed? Was it just that the 'body bomb' could have been the little kid? That kinda went nowhere... Then there was the bit where they were being snipped at. Again that could've gone somewhere but didn't, not even the fact that the sniper had crept around on their position. I also don't understand why, after picking off the English guy, the Sniper didn't just do the same to the American guy who had taken up the exact same position as the English bloke he'd just shot. I thought Jarhead was a better film.

Shadow Beast
Very enjoyable. Nice to see a US war film recognize the British army,.. even if they all die. Which bit? the scene with the sniper? they are ex army, there guns for hire, there is (was) a pack of cards around with 52 pictures on with all the most wanted on. that's what them guys were doing going around collecting for a considerable fee. i'll see if i can find a link for you on the cards.
