narbar
Found these on ebay and think they would deffinately add a unique look to a Supra! Bit pricey but would like something like this on mine, what do you guys think of this style rear lights? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260563193970&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT Edited March 9, 2010 by narbar (see edit history)

Abz
The ones on eBay seem nice but a tad expensive at £430? I guess they are using facelift lights as the base which could explain why, though are not LED's cheaper to produce as they cost pennies? Nice set though! Heckler - Are you working on the old design you posted a thread up to maybe have everything in one cluster? Or you looking to do something similar to the eBay ones? jackso11
Si, are the ones you make as pricey as the ones on ebay?
heckler
Right, I'll be up front, mine do cost more, but that's down to how they are made. The reason lights like these, wether they be rics or mine is the time involve to make them - it takes me 20 hours to produce a set as I have to hand drill all he holes then solder the LEDs - I did a thead which shows the build process as people couldn't understand why they cost so much. I don't want to turn this in any sort of argment about cost of them on this thread, of which I appologse to the OP. But if you want more answers etc just pm me

But if you want more answers etc just pm me Like Si said its all down to time involved and the rising cost of lights and led's, i use different methods to Si to build these lights and hence actually take longer to build a set but thats nothing to do with quality but Si is the Guru and has more experience and this is all second nature to him. I had no idea it would take that long to build the lights, though I have seen your work Heckler & seems quality stuff
jackso11
I don't dispute the cost. Even refurbing headlights can take hours! and that is a simpler job and they sell for £200 done properly. So I would say your price is about right for the amount of hours going into them.
