SupraJames
I know how you feel mate, I have got quite a few issues with mine and tbh it needs some big cash thrown at it to get it right, but cant sell it as would get peanuts for it, and could not part with it, so for the mo its on the back burner till I have the cash together to get it all sorted. Barney is one of the nicest colour supras I have seen, be a shame to break it

Should be more reliable right? Its not mechanical bar the clutches thats the problem and i think a new differential will fix that, its all electronics and i have no idea about them and dont know anyone who can help me with it. You might be right in that im not ready to part with it but i just cant seam to drive it without something going wrong.
SupraJames
If its BPU it should be reliable as not all that much has been changed. What exactly is up with it. I of course am biast but I would keep it as said above maybe put a few parts back to stock, if you have a boost controller just run it at stock boost until funds become available to get it sorted properly. Sorry to all that want to buy parts but thats my opinion.

Sorry to all that want to buy parts but thats my opinion. I only run it at 0.73 bar, 406 BHP is at 1.2 bar. Its all electrical, but i think its all to do with the main loom around the front as it caught fire so need a new one, but i dont know why it did so im worried that if i do get a new one then what if that ones does. Engine wise it doesnt miss a beat. T

SupraJames
Ohh the loom caught fire, is a lot of loom damaged, as I am sure it could be repaired, or as you said get a new loom. Need to find out why the loom caught fire in the first place. Mate I can always pop up for the day one day and take a look, I am no expert but know enough about car wiring

Need to find out why the loom caught fire in the first place. Mate I can always pop up for the day one day and take a look, I am no expert but know enough about car wiring well i have tried to fix it but it depends if there is any more damage, i can get a new loom for just shy of 100 but fitting it is the problem and dont wanna do it and then it messes up again that would be a great help mate if you could
SupraJames
Well get a new loom and we can have a go at fitting it, do you know why the old one caught fire..? was it against something very hot ?, or was it caused by a short. Number one issue is find out what happened and stop it happening again.
Why T
I dont know, all i did was disconnect the rear earth in the boot to clean it as my brake lights, windows and door locks did not work and when i put it back on it caught on fire.
