Samurai446
Just wondering how much people think it should cost for a veilside front bumper, side skirts, mirrors and rear spats to be painted and fitted. Its a pretty good job, only thing is that the skirts and spats are on with black stuff. Not the prettiest of stuff. They guaranteed it would be done for the toyota meet on 1st may but i didnt get it till 4th may. They had it for 3 weeks and they say it took 65 hours to do it. There charging me £1800. Does this seem right.

Jake
John ('Dude') did my full respray for less than that. Inc colour change and fitting of new bumper, skirts, spats, debadging, de-ariel'ing Where did you get it done?
Supragal
Did you get a quote first?
Homer
That sounds very high, I got a few quotes for similar work and the most expensive were around the £1k mark. As Jake says, Dude will fit all your kit and do a full respray for less or the same as you've been charged.
keron
that sounds very expensive...i would expect all those parts for that price too! it's always best to ask for a quote first really (written quotation is best)
TimH
very expensive indeed...... my best mate runs a spray shop and I'm sorry but 65hrs curing time would be right.... 1800, bloody hell!

Samurai446
cheers people. i thought it was rich. This will be argued all the way. Theres not a chance im gonna pay that much. Does the 65 hours sound a bit much as well? I didnt think it could take that long to do it
