sdistc
Are these both LSD's? Any TT diff is an LSD, unless the centre has been replaced.
mrgee2jz
Any TT diff is an LSD, unless the centre has been replaced. no they are not, lol there are loads of TT's with open diff's from manufacture, ive owned a few myself, its also written on the vin plate, eg A02A is open A02B is LSD. im not sure of the uk's though

JamieP
Take the backplate off and look inside. Simples. Not simple if you cant be arsed, buyers risk if anyone buys from me:)
David P
Not simple if you cant be arsed, buyers risk if anyone buys from me:) Only takes 2 minutes to do, Torsens are worth £50 more than open diffs. That's £25 a minute.
ray007
still need a tt6 diff if anyone has one
mwilkinson
I have a TT Auto LSD diff sitting in the garden. I took it off as it needs a rebuild I think? I was fortunate enough to get a pre 95 TT lsd diff of Jamiep before he started properly hoarding them!! You can have it if your willing to collect. Like I said though, it needs a refurb. Terminator
There is nothing written on the diffs that enable identification. Even Vin plates are not 100% guarantee, as diffs are easy to change.
