carl0s
I've just got some fibreglass spats which i was told were 'veilside' spats. The finish on the edges looks really bad, but also I'm wondering how are they meant to be fitted to the car? cheers, Carl
LeeT
the spats are screwed into the wheel arch edges on the front and stuck on with a poly-urethane sealant/adhesive at the rear. by the sound of things you will have to sand the edges down with some wet and dry to smooth them out a bit
Dragonball
Where from m8? You need to use some sealant - but make sure these are clamped down or will peel away from the body The edges should not be rough! But sand down as suggested - you will need to fiddle around to make them line up with the body line
