supragold Posted March 5, 2010 Share Posted March 5, 2010 (edited) I have an HKS EVC 5 boost controller but of late it seems to be playing up. I have a boost gauge also fitted and the readings on the gauge read normal but the controllers display doesn't match - my gauge would read vacuum yet my controller read boost? If I turned it on to setting A which was normally 1.2 bar it would boost round to 1.6 which is what B was set at. Then when taking it to MOT it came up ERROR across the screen. My battery had been going flat recently so I thought it just lost its programming but its done it again and I can’t clear the error? Does anyone know what it could be? There is a filter on the small boost pipe. Would changing that help. Also does anyone have an instruction manual on the EVC 5?
