Lude
gearbox is a bit of a pain when cold, especially when 1st to second, read that you need to put special V160 oil in, so am going do that ASAP, encase the prev owner has just put normal oil in. does the box have to be removed or anything stupid? i mean is there enough room for you to lift the oil up so goes into the box? PS its the getrag. when its warm goes in easy (like something else lol
merckx
read that you need to put special V160 oil in, It's not readily available like it used to be, Whifbitz on here do it , you'll need just less than 2 litres. Do a search on here and you'll find that it isn't particularly clear which lubricant is a definate replacement. does the box have to be removed or anything stupid? No. Some recommended lubricants. The car needs to be level. I filled mine using a couple of metres of clear plastic tubing. Stick one end in the filler hole and attach a funnel to the other end and fill it up from the side of the car. You shouldn't have much left from 2 litres and it should be level with the bottom of the filler hole. It might be worth checking that you can loosen the filler hole plug first before you drain it out from the bottom hole. Ganty
It's a pretty easy job if you use a pump and try opieoils for some fluid

Terminator
I get my V160 fluid from Opie oils. Remove the filler plug before draining the oil, it will allow air to take the place of the draining oil
