grandiaerbest
Yeah I am buying. Been a huge Final Fantasy fan almost all my life. Truly great games, Final Fantasy 5 and 9 have special places in my heart, though I love all of them, 7 was great aswell as was 8.

DanGX
Fo'Shizzle ma Wizzle... although I'll wait till it's out in the shop. Loved first ones and 7 and 8. I was over the moon when they came out with 1 & 2 on the PSP. I've also got Final Fantasy Tactics which was a bit...naff. Badly translated. The word "Jape" came up in ever other sentence. I bought the Final Fantasy Crisis Core and that brought back fond memories and I'm still agonising whether to buy Dissidia. My understand is it's another franchise rip off with almost no plot but - hey - it's got Squall and Cloud, right?
tooley
at the moment id gladly buy anything that would make me want to turn my ps3 back on again. it still hurts that i havent played with it after 2 weeks after being one of the first people in the uk to get one and then realising id been sold a turkey because gt5 was nowhere release and is still over a year away even today. its been sat there ever since and just gets a dusting over once a week i even debated getting cod mw2 for it but then thought why play it on 2 formats
pistonbroke
I'm holding out for the reviews. I've heard some horrible things about the battle system. apparently, you can only control one character, and not the whole squad. When your character dies, thats it, battle over. The NPC's do not have the ability to rez you . Sounds pretty different to any other FF game, so I'm not sure if I'll take to it. Also, the summons are just plain gay, Shiva used to be a naked ice chick, now she looks more like one of the wheelies from return to OZ, with a twin sister who join together and turn into a bike which your character rides. Ifrit is now a car lifted straight from Grease that does burnouts on the baddies, whatever happened to the badass dragon that shot a whopping ball of fire from it's gob. foggy147
Yeah I have heard there is no towns either and it's linear, but to be honest that doesnt bother me, I hated ff12 because it was a crap story and was just constantly roaming around lost on the big maps. You can control all the charachters but later on in the game.It also allows you to restart if you do end up dying right from where you left off saving the frustration of doing the same bits over and over again. Im really looking forward to it and although it may be a bit different, it's more than likely going to be similar in design to ffx which was a great game. Either way it's gonna be better than 99%of anything else coming out. Wathed a video of god of war 3s opening 10 mins and wow, it certainly starts off in a huge scale
