Chiefgroover
I get my fair share of cabin fumes, which i really dont want. This is something I never had on stock tubbies so put it down to being a big single, I have routed the fuel breather pipe from the tank into the wing, where the bottom of the charcoal cannister would go, but still get it, anyone know the answer? leelbuk
Do you get it just when you come to a stop? I've always had that since a decat, all that unburnt fuel from exhaust catching up with you when you stop at a junction! Shouldn't get it on idle though, unless the wind is blowing from the back to the front of the car. Does the Supra have an activated carbon pollen filter? I've never checked or searched EDIT: Just found out they don't Supra's do NOT have pollen filters Edited March 2, 2010 by leelbuk (see edit history)
TLicense
What fuel pump mount are you using? I've found that the WOTM one is too large a diameter for the pump - tank o'ring seal to fit corrcetly so I always have a strong fuel smell. I've got to pull the whole lot out of the back and get it turned down to the same size as stock. I think it's only a mm or so, but there's no way the o'ring fits correctly as it is. Golfpro
Might it be something as simple as having the vent from outside button pressed rather than recirculating? I find that I often get fumes inside especially when in slow traffic.
dude
Have a look at vent/filters in the Demon Thieves catalogue or run a hose from the pipe that should go to the carbon filter back to the inlet of the turbo.
Chiefgroover
Just had a thought, my Greddy catch tank vents to the ground @ the front LHS. Perhaps I should pipe it back half way under the floor, as fumes may be blowing in from it?
