j_jza80
I sold my Corrado recently and have decided I had a big VW shaped hole in my life currently, and bought myself a Golf... It's a MK2 GTI 8v in the best colour for these, Oak Green. She's done 160k but other than a noisy v-belt you wouldn't tell. The really good thing though is there's NO rot on the body anywhere except for a little bubbling on the edge of the bonnet. Not that quick but quite good on fuel and I think it looks cool. kill1308
Lovely motor, a nice clean MK2 is still one of my favourite cars, I've had a few of em and they are always dead reliable and drive really well for their age.

RobD
There's a bloke on another forum i'm on who's absolutely mad on these's, he's currently stripping down one of these, i'll try and link the thread to it, this is the second one he's gone mad on, the first he put a 1.8t engine in it, it looked stunning! You would've thought it had just rolled out of the factory! http://www.coupe-club.co.uk/showthread.php?t=46273 Not sure if you will be able to see the link, so no FAIL's if it doesn't! j_jza80
what was the corrado? Vr6, G60 etc... 2.9 VR6 (full Storm spec other than the badges) was a lovely car but I had a few niggles with mine and I decided I wanted a change. I'll definately have another Corrado one day, they are amazing. A Corrado with a 1.8t lump and a six speed box would be my dream daily driver. Nice car Is there a massive weight in the boot, it looks a bit lanky at the front in comparison to the rear.? The previous owner wasn't happy with how low the front was, and bought some stock springs. Still handles alright although I will address this, along with some Neuspeed ARBs and a full suspension bush refresh.

Jake
Is it your camera that's fucked or my monitor?
j_jza80
Is it your camera that's fucked or my monitor? My Camera There was alot of glare today (was a rather nice day here) and my DSLR with polarising filter obviously didn't like it. I'll get some better ones posted up within the next few days. Going to get stuck into it with a clay bar and a machine polisher after the weekend so i'm expecting great results.
