SupraD06
The first supra i ever spotted had a full Veilside kit on, i loved it for years, but after owning one and seeing all the other kits, it soon looked dated and tacky. I do like the skirts still though

I do like the skirts still though I agree, I fell in love with a black veilside kitted Supra complete with Lambo doors and other flashy stuff I used to see in Ilford when I was working. I've gone right off of them since actually owning a Supe but bought some veilside skirts for mine just last week
Bobbeh
To me that's sad news, they did a lot of good stuff too, sure some of the kits were insane but they have made some good things over the years.
Wez
To me that's sad news, they did a lot of good stuff too, sure some of the kits were insane but they have made some good things over the years. the Veilside Ti exhaust was a great product
Bobbeh
Indeed, apart from mine needing a re-weld *cough* its a great exhaust (my fault, it came lose at the back and fractured being chucked around the Nurburgring lol).

Mine could do with a little welding as I pulled it clean off on a speed bump leaving Marham, not my finest hour
Bobbeh
I know a man who can. I had all sorts of fun and games trying to get it done before I went back to the Ring!
Multics
i think they failed to keep up with the times, Fair enough the Supra kit is questionable but their latest stuff are ok IMO. AFAIK they're still trading in the US http://www.premier4509.com/index.php?act=home
Homer
Is it confirmed that it's the Japanese (original) Veilside company that's folded? Do you have a source for this? I question it as there's been rumours of them going bankrupt for a few years now... Will be a shame if they do, they have some great products (shocking bodykits excluded of course!) supra_aero
Will be a shame if they do, they have some great products (shocking bodykits excluded of course!) You make me laugh lol. I think its a pity. I loved most of their kits at least at one point. I am very surprised given the amount of exposure they got with each fast and furious film. I think its quite sad. Thorin
I saw a Veilside kitted 350Z the other day and thought it looked fantastic...
pistonbroke
I contacted the Veilside UK contact dept last year about stuff for my s2000. I was told then that the jap side of things had all but stopped and they were now only catering for the high end market, lambos, ferraris etc.
Mcgoo
I saw a Veilside kitted 350Z the other day and thought it looked fantastic... The only Veilside kit I've ever liked is the 350z. I actually think its a vast improvement on stock.
Terminator
I guess they want to be associated with newer cars with sleek designs in the current market. Its is 8 years since the last Supra was sold, probably a similar time frame for a lot of other Japanese cars they kitted back in the day. No of the volume car makers have any decent looking cars these days, the ones that stand out are the high end exotics.
Guest blueangel
It will be a shame as veilside kitted cars are some of my oldest memories of jap tuner cars and back in the day they were fantastic and i would still have the fortune kit.
