Went to LeeP's today because I still had a problem with my sandwich plate leaking oil and now the sequential turbos are playing up.

The sandwich plate is fixed but will be coming off when I go single in April.

Also had a problem with a valve not opening on the sequential turbos and when the 2nd tubby was coming on line some gases were trying to go backwards which made the car jumpy and jerky.

Lee changed it to TTC mode and apart from the extra noise it was a nice jerky free drive home:thumbs: .

A big thanks to Lee for giving up his time for me. Dont forget to book me in for April mate:d.

Also saw Jamies car there and it looked stunning.

I had, it was going to be PHR kit with a Borg Warner 91/79 but they have change from using a HKS manifold due to some failures.

So now Im going with a Whifbitz kit BW 91/79 with twin scroll manifold.

As of march 28th full race are doing a 1.10ar for that turbo, .91 is to small for a twin scroll imo and will run out of puff big time at the top end.

Good choice.

Whats your budget for the conversion mate? Whats on your shopping list?

RPS stage 3 street clutch

Bosch fuel pump

Sard 800cc fuel injectors

NGK irdium grade 8 spark plugs

Fuel dampner line

TRD front strut brace

Solaris ECU

Greedy Intake Manifold

Q45 Throttle body

Whifbitz Tubby kit

Big brake kit my price range something like K Sport or D2.

I have everything apart from the turbo kit and brakes. I may get a new stainless exhaust.

  • 1 month later...

Lee had my car last week fitting the new RPS stage 3 clutch as my old one was slipping like a biatch.

Also changed the master cylinder and other bits whilst at it.

The clutch is a bit heavy and has a low biting point but I will get used to that.

As always top stuff by Lee very happy with SRD's service.

The BW turbos are extremely torquey, when I test drove mine paul had the BW on it, the 91/79 I think (the larger one of the two) and it would break traction no sweat in 3rd in the dry, bit of a monster that turbo.

Will be an awesome build
