Sheefa
Bump. Great article. Just cleaned mine up and testing tomorrow! I found a ratchet screwdriver for the two Phillips screws works best after soaking in WD40 for 10 mins. It's the only way I could get decent leverage on them. Fingers crossed. Great guide for everyone with idling problems. Thanks to Tomyspeedy for bringing this to my attention
Guest Banners
What was the part number you've got for the IACV? Mine in Xena, the Supercharged V8, is doing the same thing and is a real PITA to drive at the moment. Managed to get a replacement from the USA at $50 all in. Still waiting for delivery guy to arrive. Banners

K22SUP
While this is been cleaned should diaphragm part in manifold be removed and cleaned too
ianhid
For anyone else trying this, buy an impact screwdriver. PH2 and a little tappy tap tap will pop those screws easily without completely chowdering them. Only costs about £15 for a half decent one too.
