pistonbroke
mine was painted when the rear spoiler was done,so is a perfect match to exterior...looks good in the flesh My last supra had it's dash sprayed silver, but this car being silver I thought it might be a bit OTT. I also saw another members car with a black dash with chrome rings, that sold it to me TBH, I much preferred it to the silver.
scotty71
How long did it take you to get the rubber stuff off?? Im either going to spray or carbon wrap. Have not decided which yet. Its all in the prep though looks a good job there. Scotty
adnanshah247
have a look at my guide thread here guys for tips, its a thread i did on jamie's pod and a complete dash:- http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=195184
pistonbroke
I've been put off the shiny reflective laquered look, it's a bit too in ya face for my liking. Apparently sun reflections can be a pain with the shiny dash.

Apparently sun reflections can be a pain with the shiny dash. Matt lacquer on those would look fantastic. I have a matt lacquer on my dash, and it looks great, as no reflections and you see all the 'colour' etc.
marcAB10
imo the reflection thing isn't true, mine has been gloss black for over a year now, through very sunny days and not once had any sun reflections.

dani_r
Will do, £60 including return post by banbury flocking. That is a really good price! Are you having it done just black?

AndrewOW
First post editted with finished pics That looks smashing with the matt? lacquer, or did you just leave it as it was? The chrome rings really set that off. Have you got a link for the rings on Ebay at all?

Have you got a link for the rings on Ebay at all? I just left it with the gloss paint finish, no laquer. I didn't want it to be shiny. I prefer the matt look. Here's a link to the rings http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/THE-TUNING-SHOP_Chrome-rings_W0QQ_fsubZ246705319QQ_sidZ330164979QQ_trksidZp4634Q2ec0Q2em322
