I'd happily support england in many sports if the "british" press weren't as blatantly biased as they are. The english press for me destroy any chance of me supporting england.

 

I can almost guarantee that in every game in this up coming world cup the english side will be mentioned in some form or other.

 

I mean even in the last event 1966 was mentioned in the final even though england we're not even in the bloody thing.

 

So i plan on watching this world cup with it muted

I understand what you are saying, like the Scot's tennis player ( Andy? sorry dont follow tennis)who became british when he allmost won a grand slam. May be there is a argument for british football team & not England etc, but would we want that?

thats a great point as over the years there's been a few welsh players , who in their careers have won most things but never graced a world cup .

hughes / rush / giggs , just shows the lack of depth in our nation , and i think england would give anything for a southall atm
