Dave17
It's called fully comprehensive.

Lurch
Yeah, I have fully comp, but I do believe you have to be 25 now and the cars I want to drive are my dads cars and he's insured them through a traders policy (He's a car dealer) and I dont think being fully comp will cover them? They wont insure me on his poilcy either.

Lurch
Really, thats interesting. Will have to get in touch as I'm the same. I still dont think it covers cars that are insured via motor trade policies though? I will ring them to confirm that though as that would be very handy indeed. Thanks for your help! Safely Insured
It's called fully comprehensive. That is a fairly common misconception actually, having fully comp cover does NOT guarantee you have the driving other car (DOC) extension. You actually get DOC with most TPFT policies, but again this isn't guaranteed. A lot of insurers are taking away DOC , especially for under 25 year olds.
