Guest massivesupra Posted May 18, 2005 Share Posted May 18, 2005 Hi, Really trivial question but, has anyone ever changed the gear shift knob on the auto twin turb as mine is really worn and i want to upgrade the interior. i've found replacement gear knobs but with only one button and i need two buttons due to the "magic" overdrive button ! anyone any ideas or links to sites where these are available ? is the overdrive button electrical or mechanical, maybe i can move the swith ????? anyone any ideas pls ? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Albert_F Posted May 18, 2005 Share Posted May 18, 2005 Just as a matter of interest i started a thread the other day as i have a similar problem with worn gearknob and you have been provided with the thread for gear knobs.As a matter of interest I spoke to Toyota main dealers today and priced the cost of a new knob and i have been quoted £25.00 which i was rather amazed at so i have ordered one.
