Guest supra tuft
hi all prob an age old question but here goes anyhow... am i right in thinkin that the twin turb model is a bi-turbo i.e an in-line that spools the 1st at a certain amount of revs to spin the 2nd to create less lag and a smoother transition or a true twin sequential? also conversions easy or easier just to tune a 7mgte? cheers in advance for your paitence at my greenness
AJI
twin-turbo / bi-turbo just means the same thing basically. I think mainland europe preffered the 'bi-turbo' terminology whereas the UK prefered the 'twin-turbo' wording. (I stand to be corrected of course)
ellis
Bi, turbo or twin? Confused!! With just a comma, your thread title would have been comedic manna from heaven for me. You have ruined my day by not doing so. Shame on you, shame!
Gaz6002
The Supra's turbo setup is known as sequential twin turbo.

Gaz6002
ellis will try harder next time lol, but to to the others thanks for the input! question is which one to go for ....? What do you mean "which one"? This is the mkiv Supra forum, so it's unlikely we'll be telling you to buy a 911.
