JamesC
Well this is what I got after selling the Supra. I was after something cheaper but something that I still liked, and came up with this: Not to everyones taste i know! 530i Sport, not a match for a TT but might give some N/As a run for their money
jimbo482
I like these my friend has one nice car James! but I still think your supra was one of the best on here
L33
my mate has a 5 series that looked like that, had double glazed windows and loads of other fab bits think it was a 4.0 liter i cant remember! nuts!
JamesC
Cheers, yeah it definately doesn't get the looks that the Supra got! It is a nice comfy ride though
Ricky49
Liking that, it looks a clean motor.
SimonT
Looks lovely mate, i'm quite a fan of these my brother had one in the exactly the same colour and it didnt go too bad either and for such a big car handled well Looks to me around a 51 plate? Just out of interest how comes you didnt go for the auto as i heard that the manuals are so hard to sell on compared to the autos?!
jevansio
Looks great, bringing it to the NE meet?
JamesC
No double glazing on this one, it was probably was a 540i which is a 4.4. Yeah the car is a 2000. It was a manual i was after and they are pretty rare, i just prefer the manuals. The auto is slightly slower/ worse on MPG and have issues of blowing up when they get to 100K ish. Not sure if there harder to sell on? I thought quite a few people would like a manual in these, but i don't know?
SimonT
Fair enough its a lovely car and they are very nice and comfy to drive good buy and i bet it was a bargain:)

jevansio
Will yours not be ready by then? It's touch & go, I have all the bits, just no time, was on overtime at work all last weekend & possibly this weekend, if I get a day to myself I could have it back together
Pudsey
Nice cars the 5 series. I would have gone for the 3.0 diesel, but I imagine they are even harder to find in manual guise. Nice looking and very well engineered none the less. I know someone who has an older version with 170,000 miles on the clock, and it is still so quiet you can't even hear it running. Dnk
Looks like a nice car and in a nice colour but then im slightly biased having recently gone back to a beema as a daily driver Doubt i'd buy a new BMW though as i think they've lost the plot with looks and build quality. Tricky-Ricky
Nice car, nothing wrong with BMs its just the people who drive them:innocent: i was considering a 330 TDI but the misses hates them, says there old mans cars, i keep telling her that shes got it wrong and i'm already there, but she won't have it;) Probably why i'm going for one of the Japanese equivalents:)
