toyo rob
Just had my turbos reconditioned and been running them in nice and slow. Went back to rollin road on friday and discovered that even tho i got a Blitz SBC Spec R she wont boost more than 0.8. we did a check and we're sure that both turbos are running and working even tho there is no second rush at 4k. my only thought is somehow i've gone true twin without even knowing it!!! help would be gratefully received and much needed, cheers Rob S ps. wondered whether the sbc was broken so put a bleed valve on to see if any change, but none plus totally back to standard but its hard since its at 0.8 already. plus did break the connection between front port of the actuator and the vsv to see if she went into the red but no joy. TRD3000GT
sounds like one of the vacuum lines has been hooked up incorrectly mate... Either that or your VSV has packed in... Have you looked for boost leaks as well?

Sounds like something hasn't been connected up correctly, or you have a leak somewhere (lose hose or split.) If you were running TTC you would probably see more boost rather than less. Chris Wilson
Someone MUST know if they have set it up in (spit) parallel configuration, it's hardly something that can occur accidentally! It needs a good looking at by someone familiar with the stock set up. You should have no need for any boost controller if it's de catted and has a perfomance exhaust, if anything you may need to get the boost down lower, which an electronic boost controller or a closed bleed valve is incapable of doing. osso
Definitely sounds like the two vacuum lines at the back of the second turbo (awkward to get at) have not been connected up correctly.
