very cheap.

im always wary of buying cars off crappy sites though, and this one looks very crappy - bit like a Friday ad, or Gumtree site - good for selling old tat from your gaff, but not really for a sports car??

still ... could be an absolute steal, i dont think too many people will spot it there!! ;)

I just saw a Damaged Cat D supra with a dented rear quater and no front bumper sell for £3950 on Copart auctions. There is something definately wrong with this one! Some sort of scam maybe? maybe they will wait for you to look at it and rob your money, happened a few times before.

If the car is local to you its worth a look but you must know what your looking at and do the relevant checks.

I've bought 2 mkiv's one from a garage 150 miles away the other a private sale 100 miles away that both seemed to cheap to be true, one was only advertised in a local rag and the add was pretty crap, just so happened to be a genuine UK auto tt in mint condition low miles etc etc

The other was another UK auto tt in even better condition with genuine 22,000 miles, the car was being sold due to a family issue and was seriously cheap.

Those were good days :) and well worth the risk driving 300 mile round trip.

i bought my tt for £1500 !!!!off a chinese customer who comes in a casino where i work, i overheard him saying that he was going to sell it , so i offered him £1500, and he said yes, he even let me have the car for a month before i bought it, that was 4 years ago and not had a problem since , and i drive it every day and every night because i work nights ,no traffic when i go to work and no traffic coming home, and no speed cameras too, mostly motorway driving , oh how i love the m27 and m275 into portsmouth, i love it even more coming home :eyebrows:
