p3te
Has anyone got a standard air box fitted with a front mount intercooler? I’d like to change the intake on mine (it’s currently got a green hks mushroom) and was just wondering if it would fit? Or would I have to go for another aftermarket intake like the apexi? Scott
I don't have a stock one but I have an ARC filter. It is a PITA to install with the hardpipe kit. It all depends on what way your hardpipe kit goes basically. Best bet would be to borrow one for a trial fit

mwilkinson
I have a Greddy M-Spec FMIC with a stock air box installed. It was a PITA to make fit and is very tight. Personally I found the stock air box much better for power delivery over my HKS induction kit I had previously. I would say it definitely improved the responsiveness. Supra2jze
BUMP Need help relocating the pipe that meets the standard Airbox. Has anyone got any pics? Thanks
mwilkinson
I ended up having to heat up the stock airbox where the pipe crosses it and then distorting the plastic slightly to give me enough room to make the pipe fit. Not ideal and I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
