Yeah i love the look and performance of RX7 but dont like the amount of money people have spent on fixing them so if i get 1 im gonna make sure its had the engine rebuild. Gaz6002 Posted February 22, 2010 Share Posted February 22, 2010 I wouldn't buy an RX7 at that price... but if you do, make sure it's got a documented rebuild rather than just hearsay. A friend of mine bought one under the premise it had been rebuilt, then blew up the engine. The rebuilder said it still had the paper gaskets/seals from the factory and couldn't have been rebuilt.
